My work begins with an idea rather than a tool. I am interested in exploring the psychological landscapes of the mind — states such as struggle, ambition, uncertainty, fragmentation and transformation. Each artwork attempts to give visual form to internal experiences that are often difficult to describe in words.
AI is used as part of a creative process rather than as a generator of finished images. The technology allows me to explore visual possibilities quickly, but the direction, meaning and selection of the final image remain guided by artistic judgement.
Most pieces begin with a concept or emotional state I want to explore. These may be personal reflections on the human condition: the tension between success and failure, the fragmentation of identity, or the struggle between despair and hope.
I often think of my work as “landscapes of the mind” — imagined environments where inner psychological experiences are translated into visual form. Colour, texture and structure are used symbolically to represent these internal states.
Many works begin with photographs that I have taken myself. These images may provide textures, structures, landscapes or abstract forms that serve as starting points for exploration.
Using my own photographic material allows the work to retain a personal visual foundation. These images act as seeds from which more complex compositions develop through digital and AI-assisted processes.
Prompting is the stage where ideas begin to take visual shape. I use carefully constructed text prompts to guide the AI system toward the atmosphere, structure and symbolic elements I want to explore.
Prompting is rarely a single step. It is an iterative process in which language is refined and adjusted repeatedly until the generated images begin to reflect the intended concept.
In this sense prompting functions as a form of visual direction, shaping the aesthetic and emotional qualities of the emerging image.
Experimentation is the most important stage of the process. Many variations are generated, often exploring unexpected directions that arise from the interaction between the prompt, the source material and the AI system.
During this phase I evaluate many visual possibilities, looking for images that capture the emotional tension or symbolic meaning behind the original idea.
This stage often leads to discoveries that were not initially planned, allowing the work to evolve in surprising ways.
The final image is chosen through careful selection and refinement. I look for compositions that best express the underlying concept and emotional atmosphere of the piece.
Although AI plays a role in generating visual possibilities, the finished work emerges through a process of curation, interpretation and artistic judgement. The aim is not simply to produce images, but to create visual works that reflect the complexity of inner experience.
